Hard-surface modeling — first steps

I started doing some hard-surface modeling lately and it’s quite fun.
I’m using Blender 3d in conjunction with add-ons like ICE-Tools, Cuber, HardOps, Mesh Machine.

Also, Eevee’s viewport is a huge boost to the workflow.

Blender 3D Doodle

I haven’t used Blender in a while and now that the new version 2.8 is out, I figured I’d give it a try. The render below took 3 seconds on a dual 1080ti. Post in Affinity Photo.

If I find the time I might turn this into a few seconds animation.

An old render
